Gladesmore is an exceptional community school. It has received outstanding judgements in four consecutive inspections and continues to improve even further.

The OFSTED Reports from October 2024, December 2013, December 2009, and October 2008 all graded Gladesmore overall as Outstanding. 

This achievement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and unwavering commitment of our staff, students, and the entire school community. We couldn’t be more proud of what we have accomplished together.

From the moment students walk through our doors, we set high expectations for them with ‘respect being the cornerstone of this community’. Our aim is not just to help students succeed, but to inspire them to be ambitious and achieve their full potential. This culture of high aspiration is woven into everything we do, from our challenging curriculum to the wide range of extracurricular activities on offer. 

The Ofsted report highlights the excellent practice of our dedicated teaching staff and recognises that our curriculum ‘frequently exceeds what is expected nationally’. Our teachers are not only ‘experts in their subjects’ but are also committed to creating an environment where every student feels valued and supported. 

Our staff's commitment to nurturing every student goes beyond the classroom. They are passionate about providing a safe, inspiring, and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to grow both academically and personally. This vision and our REACH values, shared by our leadership team and supported by the entire school, are at the heart of everything we do. We firmly believe that every child has the ability to succeed, and we are dedicated to making their success a reality. As a result, our students, as recognised by the inspectors, are ‘well prepared for the next stage of their learning.’
