AWS GetIT is an initiative designed by Amazon Web Services (AWS) to encourage girls aged 12-13 to consider a career in tech – challenging long-standing gender stereotypes.

All students get access to the opening presentation where information about careers and insights into how aspects of Amazon work.

Students who choose to participate in the programme then get to work in depth on designing a creative solution to a challenge in their community by planning, researching and designing an app. Through a completion students will then be taken through rounds from judges at Amazon.
