Improvements have been remarkable in terms of pupil achievement, ethos and facilities. It was highly praised by HMI in July 2001 and again in February 2002, April 2003, May 2003 and July 2003 as part of Good Practice visits.
Gladesmore has repeatedly been judged to be an ‘Outstanding School’ in all aspects by Inspectors.

Whilst proud, we are not satisfied and endeavour to make the school even better. The staff are fully committed to providing the best educational provision by frequently reviewing policies, practice and performance. The school has very high expectations. There is no room for complacency, and in this we are our own harshest critics. We have a strong focus on continuing professional development so that our the superb and stable staff continue to learn, introduce fresh ideas, share good practice and maximise their potential.
