Moody’s
Gladesmore is privileged to be the UK secondary school, that works in partnership with Moody’s. We have enjoyed working together with the multi-national credit rating organisation since 2010.
The collaboration began with a focus on supporting achievement in mathematics. Building on this, the association has evolved into wider support for pupils. Most notably, Moody’s supported pupils’ booster tuition in the STEM subjects (mathematics, science and computing) and through this extra targeted support we enabled our pupils access pathways to careers in technology, economics and finance.
The school’s very special relationship with Moody’s, and in particular with staff based in their offices in Canary Wharf, London and Wall Street, New York benefits the school in many ways. Examples include the mentoring of pupils, the provision of work experience opportunities and strategic support for school fund-raising. During the pandemic lockdown, Moody’s funded laptop devices for our pupils to enable them to participate in remote learning.
